BJORK – HOLLOW – VIDEO

La extraordinaria Bjork estrena su nuevo vídeo de HOLLOW otra canción más de la joya de estudio «Biophilia». (Honestamente al principio me recordó a un capítulo de Dr. House) Un trabajo increíble de casi 6 minutos hecho por Drew Berry un animador biomédico sobre el colorido viaje molecular en el ADN (de Bjork). Una cosa avant-garde llevada al siguiente nivel. Además ¡estará de visita el próximo Miércoles en el país!.

“Retrata el sentir cuando pensamos acerca de nuestros antepasados y el ADN que ha formado a nuestros familiares 30 mil años atrás. Así que esto es un poco del viaje a través de este túnel del ADN. Es ser parte de este collar eterno, eslabón de una cadena, la necesidad de ser parte de ella y ser parte del milagro” Bjork.

Primavera – Verano 2012 de entre tantas tendencias, hay una que me encanta (esta ocasión para mujeres) Impresion Digital en textiles. Que increíble técnica, ya antes aplicada pero ahora con mas fuerza, desde McQueen a Dries Van Noten a Hieronymos Bosch’s a Alex Sainsbury. Esta tendencia aparece en lo minimal hasta lo mas barroco, ¡Verano no es  pantalones fucsias y colores fluorescentes!

Spring – Summer 2012 between many trends, theres one that I love (this time only for womens) Digital Print on Fabrics. What an amazing techniq, already been applied before but this this seasson with more power, from McQueen to Dries Van Noten to Hieronymos Bosch’s to Alex Sainsbury. This trend appears from the minimal to the most baroque way, Summer is not fucias jeans and fluor colours at alllll!

FESTIVAL – CUMBRE TAJIN 2012 – MEXICO

Llega el 2012, la primavera, y con esto uno de los festivales músico-culturales mas importantes del país y de América Latina. La fecha es del 17 al 21 de Marzo, en Papantla, Veracruz. Lo encabeza una de las diosas y criaturas mas espectaculares: BJÖRK, entre otros grandes como CAIFANES, PINK MARTINI, CAFÉ TCVBA …. RAF SIMONS SAYS GOOD BYE – JIL SANDER

Luego de tanto ir y venir de la misma Sander de su propia firma, en el 2005 el corporativo elige al belga Raf Simons como director creativo de la firma. Aunque al principio aceptado con muchas dudas, rápidamente Simons logro captar la atención de todos con su estilo en cada colección, aumentando las ventas de la marca y claro posicionándose como uno de los mejores diseñadores del siglo 21.

After back and forth of the same Sander from her own brand, in 2005 the corporative choose the belgian Raf Simons as creative director of the brand. Although at first he was accepted with many doubts, Simons quickly caught the attention of everyone with his style in each collection, increasing the brand sales and of course positioning himself as one of the greatest designers of 21st century. 

Pero como todo lo que empieza acaba, hace pocos días en la pasarela italiana otoño invierno 2012-2013, Raf dice adiós a JIL SANDER (tras el regreso hace 2 días de la misma Sander a la firma) con una colección hermosa, minimalista como siempre, muy estructurada y modernista, desde rojos vivos hasta pasteles sin dejar fuera el básico negro. Todo esto sobre una pasarela blanca casi emancipada pero interrumpida delicadamente con unos cubos de florales.

But like everything that begins has to end, some days ago in the italian autumm winter 2012-2013 show, Raf says goodbye to JIL SANDER (after the back of the same Sander to the brand) with an amazing collection, minimal as usual, very structured and modernist, from hot reds to soft pastels without leave out the black. All ths on a white runway almost emancipated but softly interrupted by cubes with flowers.

Un ambiente muy emotivo en el que la misma Anna Wintour se unió ante la despedida de Raf. Claro, no todo es triste y para suerte de la moda, Raf no desaparece del ojo, entre muchos rumores, es el principal candidato para ocupar Dior, esto si recordamos levemente el altercado en el que Galliano se inmiscuyo y que le costo su salida de CD. Veamos que pasa este 2012.

A very emotional atmosphere in which EVEN the same Anna Wintour joined for the Raf parting. For sure, not all is sad and for fashion lucks, Raf won’t disapear from the fashion eye, among many rumors, is the 1st in the top aspirant  list to take Dior, this if we remember slight the altercation in which Galliano has interfered and cost him his leaving from CD. Let’s see what’s happen this year.
